Moments

My first solo album is released TODAY.

Best considered as a New Age or Ambient collection of tunes, this collection of 12 pieces features a mixture of synthesiser, samples and guitar. There’s no consistent them – simply a collection of musical moments.

You can hear some of the tracks on my ReverbNation page.

The album is available from THIS LINK and has been submitted for inclusion on iTunes as well as other download sites (details will be made available shortly).

Following some positive response from one of the songs performed on the Penwith Radio interview, the following video was compiled.

Although this song was written several years ago, there is something of the sense that it is as valid now as then. It’s a protest song and as all protest songs has that element of angst and aggression…

As always feedback welcomed….

The songs were recorded live on Penwith Radio and hence are a bit ‘sparse’ and the Funk instrumental was recorded ‘live’ at a gig….

Feedback Welcomed

Welcome

There comes a point, I think, in everyone’s when they start to reflect upon their path; their attempts, their successes and near misses….

It is from this reflection that this blog was born.

Ok so I have several other blogs and web sites all promoting different aspects of what I do and what I have done.

For my speaking and educational work there are blogs and websites; for my training and development work their are blogs and for my magic and mentalism there are my blogs and websites…. but I also have an interest in music and from time to time do gigs.

In fact some folk only know me through the music I play in hotels, pubs and clubs. In these venues my ‘set list’ comes from the well known music of the 50′s – 00′s. Generally supported by backing tracks (many of my own) I generally moan my way through various classics and play my guitar.

However, this period of self reflection reminded me that I have written, composed and sequenced some ‘original’ material and I really felt like I wanted to put it ‘out there’ for general consideration and consumption. Hence this blog.

I will add posts from time to time and hopefully add previews of “some of my tunes”…

So please feel free to pop by every no and then to see what is going on.

All the best

Alan
